Company Volkswagen represents concept GTI W12 - the super-power version of popular hatchback GTI. The car is equipped by the 12-cylinder engine in volume of 6.0 l which allows GTI W12 to start from zero to 100 km/h of all for 3.7 seconds. The engine makes 650 h.p. at the torque of 750 Nanometers. The same motor can be found out under the hood of Bentley Continental, Audi A8, Volkswagen Phaeton and Touareg. The engine is formed by two six-cylinder motors with a small corner of a divergence of the cylinders united with each other by means of a cam-shaft. Ex-terrier GTI W12 is strongly modified outwardly for increase of aerodynamic characteristics and costs on 19-inch wheels. According to Volkswagen, the hatchback is capable to accelerate momentum in 325 km/h.
For present moment Volkswagen does not plan to start concept in a batch production.
